“Pardon me, but do you need a ride, miss?”

“No.. I’m fine..”

“Love, I may not be from around here, but I know when a lady has been hurt...would you like to talk about it over a cup of tea?”

You sigh, freezing in the pouring rain, you climb into the car.

“One or two sugars, miss ________?”

“Just one please...”

“So what were you planning to do on that bridge? “

“....”

He touches your hand, “He really meant a lot to you didn’t he?”

You nod, tears in your eyes, “the world..”

“Love can be such a fickle thing, one moment, you are  in paradise, blissful and happy and the next-”

“Pain, misery and depression...”

He nods as you finish his sentence, “yes.. You’re quite right, poppet....I’m sorry that you find your life in shambles. Perhaps you just need a mate to talk to? Break-ups are a nasty business...”

“I agree...” A high pitched voice sounds, causing you to look around in confusion.

“Huh?”

Arthur pales, gulping slightly, “Erm, its nothing... J Just wind blowing through the trees..”

He starts to look horrified when more voices sound:

“Nothing?”

The high pitched voice squeaks, “Wind? Thats the best you could come up with? Wind?”

“Shut up you daft cow, can’t you see he’s chatting it up with a fit lass?”

The high pitched voice chimes in again, “Oh. well don’t get your knickers in a twist, I just want to take a look...”

Arthur hangs his head, covering his face in his hands, thoroughly embarrassed.

You notice a green winged bunny floating in front of your face, “What the-?”

“You can see me?” It asks, you recognize the high pitched voice from before.

Your eyes get wide as you blink repeatedly, the green rabbit not disappearing  from view.

Arthur’s gaze snaps up, “I um.. blast.. I have no words to explain...”

The green bunny starts to introduce herself, “Well while Arthur’s trying to find his train of thought.. I’m flying mint bunny~!”

“Flying mint bunny?”

“Yep, and before you run out screaming that Arthur’s a nutter, go ahead, touch me. So you know I’m real... His friends all think he’s crazy anyways... I think having a friend who can see us too would be good for him-”

Arthur grabs flying mint bunny, hugging her close, “I um, if you want to leave you can... I think I need to make another pot of tea if you’d like to stay... This will kinda be a lon-”

You kiss his cheek, “It’s ok.. I’m not going anywhere...”

Flying mint bunny smiles, “Great! Come on out guys~!”

You look at Arthur, “There’s more?”

He nods and sighs in defeat, "You sure you want to stick around?"
